Schatten Dualie External Soundboard Pickup

The Schatten Dualie is a surface mount piezo pickup. It is approximately 3/8" thick, 1 inch wide, and 2 inches long. This pickup has been designed to operate properly and sound terrific without the use of a preamp when plugged into any 'normal' acoustic guitar amp. It adheres to the soundboard, usually just behind the bridge, by means of a sticky putty which allows you to easily remove or reposition the pickup without in any way damaging the finish on the guitar. It produces a beautiful natural sound, every bit as good at that produced by internally mounted pickups. If you require the added ability to be able to plug directly into a P.A. system or mixer then you may wish to add an external preamp.
