When tying your guitar strings to a 12-hole bridge it is very important to secure the string properly and tie knots on the end of the treble strings.

If you don’t do it correctly, the string can pull through the holes suddenly and “snap” onto the face of the guitar causing a “string mark” or small gouge in the face of the guitar. Watch the video for instructions When tying the knot at the end of the string, I would suggest a double knot for the E and B strings and a single knot for the G string.
