The Bolivian Santos Rosewood Concert Classical Guitar was built by the same luthier as the Allegro and Concertina Concert Model, with more expensive tonewood for the back and sides. The sound of this guitar is rich, full, strong, clear and well-balanced . The back and sides are made of solid, high-grade Bolivain Santos Rosewood, and top is master grade cedar. The fretboard is ebony, and the scale length is 650mm, with a nut width of 52mm. For a small additional charge, port hole can be installed, with insulated metal cap, which projects additional sound upwards towards the player. Three small position marker dots have been added to the edge of the fret board at the 5th, 7th and 9th position. A deluxe hardshell case is included in the price.

    "Il fait beau!" and the sound is WONDERFUL. Even as a rank beginner, having worked thru Nathaniel Gunod's "Classical Guitar for Beginners" as well as laboring over a couple of exercises by Dionisio Aguado in "Required Studies for Classical Guitar" by Jerry Willard, I have enough "oomph" and accuracy in my fingers to realize immediately the difference in the quality of tone in my new best friend...it RINGS like a bell.
