The Artist Model Acoustic Guitar is a world-class concert-worthy instrument designed by acclaimed Chinese luthier, Yulong Guo. This instrument comes with your choice of a Spruce or Cedar top and is made from the highest quality, master grade woods. The back and sides are Indian rosewood. The soundboard has a double-top design, similar to the one invented by Matthias Dammann in Germany in the late 1980s. This top consists of two super thin layers of wood, with a Nomex honeycombed structure between the tops. It has maple bindings, a Spanish cedar neck, and ebony fingerboard and bridge. The scale length is 650mm. The width at the nut is 44 mm. A decorative port hole has been installed in the side to enhance the listening pleasure of the player. The edge of the fret board is scalloped on the bass side to accommodate ease of playing notes with the left-hand thumb. This is a stunningly beautiful guitar and the sound is wonderful. This guitar comes standard with a repositionable Schatten Dualie external pick-up and a deluxe hard shell case. The quality of workmanship and the sound produced by this guitar compare favorably with concert instruments costing much more.
