Classical Guitar Amplifiers

Not just any amplifier will work well with a classical guitar. Amplifiers that are designed for use with hard-bodied electric guitars will not work well with classical and acoustic guitars. The reverse is also true. In my opinion, the best quality acoustic/classical guitar amplifiers are made by UltraSound, recently acquired by Dean Markley. They are especially designed to increase the volume of a classical or acoustic guitar without distorting the sound in any way. In other words, they are desgned to "transparently" reproduce and amplify the natural sound of the instrument. If you want to change the sound by adding special effects, the Models DS4, CP100, and PRO250 can do that as well.
