Concert Classical Guitar Model 99 7-String Version

The Concert Model 99 Seven-String Version is a beautifully hand-crafted, concert-level guitar for the serious student, advanced player, or concert artist with a modest budget. This model is a seven-string version of our Concert Model 99. The back and sides are solid Indian rosewood with a high gloss finish. The top is solid spruce or cedar, your choice, with a matte finish for greater openness of sound. It has a porthole to enhance the listening experience of the player. The spacing between the strings is slightly less than normal in order that all seven strings might be accommodated on a 55mm width neck at the nut. The string spacing is equivalent to that of a standard six string guitar with a 48mm neck at the nut. This makes is easier for someone with small hands to reach across the fretboard to all seven strings. It comes standard with a hardshell case.

Currently we have three instruments in stock. The cedar top version is perfect in all respects.

We have two spruce top versions for sale at greatly reduced prices due to structural defects. One has a crack on the top (pictured with a yellow circle around it) that happened when it was shipped to Alaska in the middle of the winter. It has been professionally repaired and has stabilized and shouldn't get any worse. It is being offered at $795.00. The other has a very small crack on the side of the fretboard near the nut, which happened when I tried to remove the nut to make an adjustment. I repaired the crack but it is still visible. It is circled in yellow on the photo. This one is being offered at $895.00.
