Limited Warranty on All Classical Guitars

All guitars sold by the Goyette Guitar Center are warranted to be free from defects for one year following the date of purchase, except in cases where a guitar was purchased at a discount because of a defect that was disclosed prior to purchase. The warranty is limited, because even a well-made guitar, with excellent materials, is subject to damage resulting from changes in temperature, humidity and misuse.

The Goyette Guitar Center reserves the right to determine the validity of any warranty claim. The warranty is for one year only, because most defects in workmanship would be expected to show up within that period. In response to a valid warranty claim, we will pay for the repair, or repair the guitar ourselves, or replace the guitar with a new one, depending on the severity of the defect. Cracks do not normally develop as a result of defective workmanship, so a complete guitar replacement would not be warranted. We would however pay for the repair, provided the crack was not caused by negligence. All minor defects in the finish and workmanship of the guitar which were visible during the 7-day trial period, will not be covered by this warranty.

It is the purchaser’s responsibility to examine the guitar upon receipt. If the purchaser is unhappy with the guitar for any reason, within 7 days of receiving the guitar, the guitar may be returned for a full refund, or replaced free of charge with another.
